Bishop Darrin Christopher Johnson is an authentic Prophetic voice with an Apostolic anointing to advance the Kingdom of God and has been serving for more than 30 years. He began ministering the Gospel in 1983 while serving, in his parent’s church, Fellowship Pentecostal Temple, Camden, NJ. He studied Music Education and Religion at Lincoln University, PA.
In 1997 Bishop Johnson co-established and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Dominion International Church Cathedral in Norfolk, Virginia: affectionately known as Dominion Cathedral. Over the last 24 years Dominion has impacted thousands with the love of Christ, through various ongoing community and in-house initiatives. Since 2005, Bishop Johnson has served as the establishmentarian and Presiding Prelate of Dominion Alliance of Pentecostal Churches; a thriving fellowship of churches throughout the US. He also established and launched, with his wife, several other Dominion locations. Bishop Johnson also serves as the Vice President of the Hampton Roads Ecumenical Council of Bishops, under the leadership of Archbishop Ezekiel William. Bishop has been honored to serve on various church and municipal boards and committees. He’s been favored to write and record music; and publish articles in Christian magazines. His anointing as an Apostle in the Kingdom has been called on to preach and teach for conferences, convocations, and seminars for more than 20 years.
Bishop Johnson has been happily married to his wife, Dr. Tamarra V. Johnson since 1995. As a kingdom power couple, together they have worked to advance the purposed of God throughout the U.S. and various foreign Nations. Bishop Johnson is an awesome father of four: Stacy Hobson, Tamarrin, Terri, and Tyler Johnson; and two grand-daughters Layla and Bella-Marie Hobson. Bishop Johnson is anointed to train leaders to effectively serve in the Kingdom during this final hour of time. God has favored him with more than 30 years of impactful ministry. His peculiar ministry has provoked many individuals to excel through a life changing experience with Jesus Christ.
